Glacier is the park that still feels like the frontier. A million acres of knife-edge peaks, turquoise lakes and hanging valleys sit on the Montana side of the Continental Divide, and the only road across them, Going-to-the-Sun, clings to the cliffs for fifty miles and opens for a few short months each summer. Mountain goats wander the parking lot at Logan Pass, grizzlies dig for roots in the meadows above Many Glacier, and the water in Lake McDonald is so clear the colored stones on the bottom look painted. The glaciers that named the place are shrinking, which is one more reason people keep coming to see them.

Our Glacier collection starts with a hand-engraved scene from the Sun Road: a mountain goat on a ledge above a hanging lake, beargrass in bloom and the Garden Wall behind. More scenes are coming for Lake McDonald's stones, the red buses and Grinnell Glacier. The crewneck and hoodie are for a cold start at Logan Pass; the tee and the mug are for the long drive out to Whitefish with the windows down.

Everything is original artwork, printed to order in the USA. We are not affiliated with the National Park Service or any park concessioner.

Why we love Glacier

  • ✦Going-to-the-Sun Road is fifty miles of cliff-edge engineering
  • ✦Mountain goats treat Logan Pass as their own
  • ✦Lake McDonald's rainbow stones are real
  • ✦It is the quiet half of a park that crosses into Canada

Best time to go: July through September, when Going-to-the-Sun Road is fully open and the high trails are clear of snow; late September for larches turning gold and empty trails before the road closes.
