Malibu is twenty-one miles of coastline strung along Pacific Coast Highway, and locals just call it the 'Bu. Surfrider Beach is the point break that made longboarding famous, where First Point peels past the pier on a south swell. Zuma stretches wide and sandy to the north, Point Dume rises above it with whales passing below in winter, and El Matador hides sea caves and arches at the far end. Up in the canyons, Malibu Creek State Park looks like another planet entirely.

Our Malibu collection is built around that coast. The crewneck sweatshirt carries a wave badge in Pacific blue and bleached sand with the 1991 incorporation year, warm enough for the fog that hangs over PCH on summer mornings.
