Sedona, Arizona

Sedona is a small town surrounded by rock the color of a struck match. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte stand over the valley like a skyline that was never built, Oak Creek runs cold and green through the middle of it, and twice a day the whole place goes orange, then rose, then violet while people gather on Airport Mesa to watch. The town got its name in 1902 from a postmaster's wife, Sedona Schnebly. The vortex talk came later and never left. Locals give directions from the Y, the junction where Uptown, West Sedona and the road up Oak Creek Canyon all meet, and spend summer afternoons sliding down the sandstone chute at Slide Rock.

Our Sedona collection is drawn from the last ten minutes of light on Cathedral Rock. The crewneck carries a layered butte silhouette in three reds with a thin creek line below and the town name set in a wide, rounded serif. The tee is simpler, Sedona over the 1902 line with Bell Rock in a single color, made for the Devil's Bridge trail at sunrise and a slow dinner in Uptown after. The mug and sticker share the red rock artwork.
