Santa Cruz is where the redwoods run out and the cold Pacific takes over. Steamer Lane throws winter swell at the cliffs below the lighthouse, the Giant Dipper has been rattling along the Boardwalk since 1924, and West Cliff Drive is the daily loop for every dog, longboard and stroller on the Westside. Head east past the harbor and the Eastside slows down into Pleasure Point, where the morning fog burns off late and the surf check is a social event.

Our Santa Cruz collection leans into that cold-water, flannel-over-wetsuit feeling. The crewneck sweatshirt carries a single surfboard badge in fog grey and kelp green with the 1866 founding year, heavy enough for a June morning that still feels like February. The tee is a lighter take, a clean Santa Cruz wordmark with a pinline wave for bonfires at Natural Bridges or a walk out the Wharf past the sea lions. The mug and sticker pack share the same artwork so you can set the full kit on your desk.

Every piece is original art, printed to order in the USA. These are for Westsiders and Eastsiders, for the students who never quite left, and for anyone who learned to surf at Cowell's and still measures a good day by what the Lane is doing.

Why we love Santa Cruz

  • ✦Steamer Lane is one of the most-watched surf breaks on the West Coast
  • ✦The Giant Dipper has been running on the Boardwalk since 1924
  • ✦West Cliff Drive turns a sunset walk into a daily ritual
  • ✦Natural Bridges fills with monarch butterflies every late fall

Best time to go: September and October for the warmest, clearest days and the smallest crowds; December through February for big winter swell at Steamer Lane.
